Hi Alice,
I wanted to give you an update on Max/Cassius. He is now 5 yrs old and seems very happy. He is run daily in an open field with fellow canines including several Boxers. His hip dysphasia is slowly progressing but not a major problem at this time. Max was adopted from you on Thanksgiving day 2001.
Thanks again, Mike & Cheryl Carlsbad
Hi Alice,
We are the
proud parents of Doll- now named Dali- we rescued her about nine months ago from
Boxer Rescue and want to thank you so much for all that you are doing for these
dogs. Dali completes our household and is an AMAZING companion. We walk three
miles together every day and have lots of play time. She is completely crate
trained- thanks to you!! Her personality has really come alive these last few
months. She knows that we are her parents and will never leave her. We might
even have to get her a boxer rescue friend when we move into a bigger house!! We
love Dali and want to express our thanks to you! We will be in
touch!

Hi Alice,
We've decided to keep Mack!!!! He's opening up a bit and we believe he'll get more playful as time goes on. Here are some pictures of our new dog family.
Cinder has been found!
She was emaciated and is under close care now.
Alice-
I just wanted
to say thanks again for all your help and encouragement. As a testament to all
of your work, we have received several calls from people who recommended that we
call you for help...your reputation and dedication to the breed are
obvious. Cinder was adopted from Boxer Rescue of LA on May 1st and they had
just picked her up from the vet that day so we had very little information about
her...she has been spayed and had all her shots, but it's apparent from her
physical appearance that she has recently had pups. We have no clue where
the pups are or how she ended up at the rescue in the first place. Anyway,
I'll keep you informed on our progress...thanks again!!

Alice,
We just wanted to let you know that Capone is doing great! He seems to love his new home and we love him very much. He has adjusted so well and he is so smart. He listens well and has bonded with the kids so much. He sleeps in Kathrine's bed every night. He is actually pretty calm here for his age. We take him a lot of places with us. we are very pleased with him. I'm glad we took him home with us. Take Care and if I know anybody looking for a boxer I will let you know.

Hi Alice,
I just wanted to share a beautiful picture of Palomo (Taz) and my daughter Victoria. We adopted Palomo a year in June and he has brought so much joy to our family, especially my daughters. He is so kind and gentle with them. He is also the "protector" of them and will not let anyone that is unknown to him come close. I want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to adopt Palomo and maybe some day we can get a second dog from you. Diana and Fausto Lopez
Hello Alice,
I was just looking at your site and wanted to thank you for the two wonderful dogs I adopted from Boxer Rescue. About three years ago I adopted a 3 year old brindle female by the name of Bryton. She is absolutely wonderful! I have no complaints! She is very loving and very well behaved, almost better than a child! About a year later I adopted another brindle female that was 2 1/2 years old by the name of Penny. Penny was also a great girl! Great personality and lots of spunk! Although, almost a year ago July something very unfortunate happened and Penny got really sick. Come to find out she had Lymph-sarcoma (Cancer of the lymph nodes) She was given a month to live with the help of a little medication to ease her pain. She gave Bryton and I a tremendous amount of love in the last month of her life. Anyways, I just wanted to give you my thanks and appreciation to you helping out such a wonderful breed of dogs! I hope to be seeing you again in the near future. Here are a couple of pictures to refresh your memory.
Much Thanks Again!!

Just wanted to keep you up on Smoochie now named Callie! She is doing so well. We love her and so does my dog. She is learning how to play ball and she LOVES to run. She is healthy and enrolled in doggie day care on the days I work. I just took some pictures of her and I will mail you some soon. It took her about 5 days to really acclimate and show her VERY ENERGETIC and playful side. She is very hard of hearing so I ordered her a speacial collar to alert everyone to this. She does very well with hand signals and we are very careful not to not touch her from behind so we don't startle her. Thank you so much.

Hi Alice,
We
adore Boomer (formerly known as Erik the Red)! He is adorable and plays
nonstop with Rocket! He is the perfect companion for Rocket! Boomer has a
very special place in my heart. Rocket and Boomer are
still quiet so the
neighbors are much happier. They sound like birds chirping when they
bark.
I have to apologize that we still have your two kennels! I am
so sorry, they were put in the garage after Boomer and Rocket were de-barked,
and we just noticed them yesterday as we are packing to move. The good news
is we are moving into a house with a large yard, so even if their barks return
we shouldn't have anyone knocking at our door to complain about the
dogs.
I have a friend at work who lives in Escondido. She has
a pickup and could drop the kennels off at your place. Could you give me
directions again for her? I will try and bring the kennels tomorrow for
her to deliver to you!
Thank you so much for everything.
